Dear Hanami Community,
After 17 rewarding years dedicated to Open Source with Ruby, the time has come for me to put my efforts on hold. With a heart full of gratitude, I announce my decision to step down from the Hanami and dry-rb projects.
These years have been filled with growth, challenges, and countless contributions, not just from me but from all of you. Your support, enthusiasm, and commitment have been the lifeblood of these projects.
As I move forward, I leave these projects in the incredibly capable hands of Tim Riley. His expertise, passion, and vision for the future assure me that Hanami and dry-rb will continue to thrive and evolve.
I look forward to seeing how the projects grow and how the community continues to innovate and inspire. Thank you for an unforgettable journey.
@jodosha, I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to you for bringing Hanami into the world, and for everything you’ve given to the Ruby community.
It’s been life-changing to collaborate with you over the last five years. I’ve learnt so much from you, and I’m very proud of what we’ve been able to create together in Hanami 2.0. I’m looking forward to extending this vision for Ruby apps in the years to come!
Thank you for all your efforts, and wish you all the best for the times to come! I’m soo grateful for all your work of all kinds - OSS, education, Hanami/Dry, the community building… your impact on my life was tremendous, it’s hard to even explain. I wish our paths would cross at some point to give you high-five! But more importantly, I’ll do my best to continue on sharing the word around Hanami with the world in the near future!
